1998 Ford Windstar GL 3dr Minivan

We tried all the makes of mini-vans but
this was the only (affordable) one that
I fit in. Power is good. Roomy enough
for the basic family & pets to go on an
extended trip. Lots of cargo space.
All around a very practical and
sensible vehicle.

Best Features

Guts to pass other vehicles, even fully loaded and going uphill.

Worst Features

Auto doorlocks lose their functionality after a couple years. Removeable seats are could lose a couple hundred pounds. Transmission crapped out at 35K, luckily right before the warranty ran out. Had more trouble trying to get the dealership to fix it than I've had with the vehicle.
