BETTER SAVE PLENTY OF MONEY FOR STANDARD REPAIRS

I was & still a fan of the Ford E series vans. Prefer the E-250 over E-150 BUT these Transit vans that replaced them are horrible. All have drive shaft, rear differentials and brake issues, recalls or just early failures. To start, replacing the pads and rotors takes so much time and money. Engine is undersized. Cruise control is a special order!!! Or after market install by Ford What the… I understand nothing is built to last anymore but if you get in an accident, plan on the Transit Van being totaled or in the shop for 3-6 months. Recall drive shafts are ford back ordered regularly. I can’t tell you what is a reliable work van but keep fixing your E150, 250 or 350 if you can. You can get 300,000 or much more miles out of the E series. Maybe 120.000 but more like 60.000 to 80000 miles on a Transit.
