I was considering purchase BMW M2 or M4, Audi RS5 and AMG C63 S Merce. But after driving Shelby GT350 it was no brainer for me. All these german cars with options(which are must have) go quickly to $90-100 range. I purchased new GT350 for much less and handling and performance of this car is in par if not better, not to mention it has true manual transmission and naturally aspired V8 engine. Good for you Ford!!!

World class sports car for far less cost than many less capable exotics. Genuine street legal road racer. Perfect combination of power, suspension, steering, brakes, trans. And the exhaust - pure unbridled joy. I may never use the radio.
Excellent

Just picked up a 2019 for good price, the car is awesome. I sold an AMG Benz for this car and will say it does not have the luxury of a Benz on the interior but they did a great job with plastic. Seats are great (cooled/heated). Car is loud and furious and is quite a performer. The motor screams insane when you get past 5k rpm, plus pulls hard all the way to redline. Took a 400 mile road trip and was very comfortable, plus the trunk holds 2 sets of golf clubs with the seats up. Fold down there is plenty of space for all your long trip goodies. Great car!

I bought this car on a whim, I loved the sound of the engine and had never owned a muscle car, my previous cars were M3, M5, E63 AMG, RS4. While they were all fantastic cars, this Shelby was something else! The manual gearbox was perfect and easy to use. The engine sound is the best I have heard and hard to beat! Handling was outstanding and predictable. I sold it to buy another dream car. But I’ll be looking to purchase another one soon because I can’t get it out of my head!

Amazing car, drives like a slice of heaven. Most engine failure stories leave out the part where they hit 8000 rpm with the oil temp at 90 degrees or started abusing the car after a 23 mile break-in period. I picked mine up and road tripped over 1,000 miles home and have never had an issue. Tire life is 7,500 miles if you are lucky, they are sticky like warm chewing gum and add to the amazing handling. If you are over 140 pounds, look for the option seats and be happier. Recaros are great for track day and miserable for every day. Other than a cracked rear emblem no real complaints. The paint is typical Ford quality, a little nicer than spray cans in your garage. The engine is pure art.
