Research specs. Apple Play and cab environment is excellent. Use of Ford Sync Ap is easy straightforward and daily useful. Recommend spend the money for the trailer tow relatively inexpensive option when you consider what you get. In 301a sport package really nothing to add. Runs great, braking is impressive and comfortable up front, We have had some warranty issues and dealer knowledge was a problem..hopefully no further and parts are a challenge with the truck being first year-- Very impressed

Love the Ranger

Bought a 2019 Lariat Supercrew FX4 with all the options available. I have only had minor issues, bad speaker with the B&O system but dealer replaced. I have the platinum white and a couple paint blemishes appeared but dealer repainted. I have seen several complaints about "big people" not being comfortable but I am 6'4" and coming from a Chevy Colorado and test driving a new Tacoma I found the Ranger to be the best. I will say they are pricey compared to the deals you can get on a full size truck but I am unable to get a full size in the garage and this was the best option.

I just bought this beauty and I tested many similar models. I'm seriously impressed with the handling and the features. Beats every other similar model, hands down. It's pretty awesome. I'll review it again in a few weeks.

Let's face it The current Ranger platform has been out for several years in other countries. So what took Ford so long to offer it in the States.?? I owned a 2016 Canyon with most all available options and it was a great truck except for the transmission (known issues) After searching for the The Ranger with the options I wanted XLT remote start sync and a few more goodies I have to say very surprised, Fun to drive turns sharper than the canyon and the 10 speed tranny is outstanding the 4 banger has great power. Very happy with a Ford platform that is not new at least not new in other countries I would guess Ford will only improve on this slightly aged platform.

Focus ST to Ranger

I’ve been reading about and test driving trucks for awhile. Test drove this and bought it. Lots of power, feels sporty and fun and I’m used to the fun of the Focus ST. Tacoma was slow, roofline was way to low, I’m 6’3. Colorado: just don’t like Chevy engines. Frontier, hate to say it but feels like a relic compared to the ranger. Subaru Ascent and outback, very nice but boring. So far getting about 19 mpg, hopefully that will improve, I only have 600 miles on it. I got the XLT, 4x4 sport with tow package for about $36,500. I think I did ok. Now time for mods, so far: bed rug which is awesome, tonneau cover, hood spoiler, mud flaps, brush guard, window visors, weathertech mats and rear cabin spoiler. It’s looking good! When the tires wear out I’ll do the leveling kit and some wider tires.
