The Ranger isn't fancy but it certainly provides all the benefits of a truck in a compact size. The ride is a bit stiff but it feels quite stable. I have the 4WD version with a manual transmission and I like the control that I feel I have when driving it.

I love my truck . I bought it brand new and the only repairs or maintenance I've done are regular oil changes with synthetic oil, transmission fluid changes, tires, plugs and wires, and upper and lower ball joints .... plus an oil spray every November. The exhaust system is still original. It doesn't have a speck of rust and I live in Southern Ontario where they salt the bejeebers out of the roads. I'll keep this truck till either it or I fall apart, whichever comes first.
