AC comprssor 6 yrs ago..2 starters.new radiator. 1 timing belt..and computer replacement......but thats about it .plus of course oil changes....dash board lights went out a while ago but i dont care.just thrilled the truck still DELIVERS GREAT SERVICE!!
Ranger
98 Ranger XLT x-cab stepside. Love this truck! Never more than an oil change and a brake job into it. Bought it used with 15k on it, and have never regretted buying it. Actually good on gas. We travel in it a lot, without any issues. I'd get another one, if they had a club cab model, but now it's Sport Trac for me. Got kids, and need more room, but can't give up the truck bed.

112k '98 Ranger xlt extended cab 2x4
After purchase dealer service fair to poor. 112,700 miles. 4 cyl., 5 spd. LOF every 3k to 3.5k. Brakes at 55k and 102k. Timing belt at 88k. major tune up at 95k. Turnsignal switch at 112k. 23 to 25 mpg. Always minor elect'l malfunctions since day 1. Esp. interior & instrument lights.
Great Truck
My second truck - far surpasses the dodge I had before. 20 MPG all year round. 4x4 excellent. Great ride and looks good. You can not ask for anything more for the price.
Ranger Rocks, Tranny Sucks!
Vehicle is great, however, the transmission stinks! I have had the truck in for transmission repairs 4 times now, and the vehicle only has 44,000 miles on it.
