To get the actual performance I wanted. I has the EcoBoost Performance Calibration kit installed by a Ford dealer. The cold air intake and engine turned makes a BIG difference in performance. I would suggest getting the regular performance package with the optional exhaust. Car almost drives like a V8!

Always loved the way the Mustang looked but never wanted one because I heard they were gas guzzlers. When I saw the 2015 Mustang I knew I had to have one and when I found out about the Ecoboost I was sold. There are no words to describe how much I love my car. It is one smooth ride with a great get up and go. I get so many comments on the way it looks. I commute 40 miles a day and only fill up once a week. There is not a lot of room in the back but it's just my husband and I so I have no complaints.

I leased one of the first 2015 models of the Ford Mustang EcoBoost. For years I wanted a Mustang. Never had one, but I envied those who drove those 5.0 liter pony cars. When Ford redesigned the Mustang for 2015, I WANTED one..badly. I read the reviews about the EcoBoost and the journalists RAVED about the power and gas economy of this EcoBoost wonder. I figured who needs a V8? I went to my local dealer, traded in my car, and drove off with the new Mustang. The day after I took it off the lot, nearly everyone I came across was stunned with the design of this car. No doubt, back in late 2014, it was a stunner, even though it looked kind of like a Fusion. But shortly into driving it, I felt it was lacking. The EcoBoost drove and had power like a Ford Fiesta I once rented. It felt like it completely lacked the 310 horses Ford advertised. The EcoBoost buzzed like my 2008 Altima's CVT. Loud, obnoxious, boring. The more I drove, I discovered that the brakes were already squealing as if they were worn. The radio would not pick up very powerful local stations without static. In the cold winter months, the interior window panes and the middle of the dashboard rattled constantly. The passenger side door did not match flush with the back fender. And now I've been told that the timing cover has sprung a leak and requires a major repair by Ford. I test drove a Honda Accord Coupe V6 and the new Chevy Camaro V6. Both cars were so much more refined in interior quality and how they drove. I did not like the Camaro (felt like sitting in a black tub without windows) and the Accord was a little squirrelly on the freeway. But they were miles above the Mustang. I wanted a Mustang so badly, but I cannot wait to get out of it.

This is my 3rd Mustang that I have ever owned. My first was a 1981 coupe with the in-line 6. My second was a 2000 GT Convertible, slightly modified. I have been shopping an found this gorgeous Race Red with the upgraded wheel option, 2.3 Ecoboost. After looking at the GT and the Ecoboost, tossing around the numbers and scratching my head for my new daily driver. I just could not justify an extra $10-15K for the GT plus it's additional costs. Plenty of pull, lots of looks, great mileage for my commuter. It is just my wife and I, so I do not have to worry about back seat usage, we have a '15 Escape Titanium for that.......

So far had mustang for a week. Just cannot for the life of see what the hype is about! Sure it stands out in the car park but is that it? I expect performance - what I get is hardly better than any other car on the road! Fuel economy is a joke! - so heaven help u if the price of gas increases! Getting in and out is fine - if you are under 5ft tall otherwise you need to be a acrobat in the hardtop! doorway is tiny! and forget about using the back seats for people I'm getting 20 mpg - in europe I would expect as a MINIMUM - 30-40 MPG. Basically if you want a striking looking car on your drive fine - but if you want something you can USE on a daily basis - forget it! AVOID!!!!!1!
