Have never been a Ford fan at all but I couldn't pass up the deal I got on a 95 GT convertible. I bought it in 2015 with 130,000 miles from original owner I worked with for years. Paid two grand for car. I bought it to resell but after driving it decided it was alot of fun to drive so kept it and now absolutely love the car. Live in CO so am blessed with some of the best roads in the world for driving like an idiot. This car handles it surprisingly great. Did not expect a Ford to handle this good. Tons of power, 5 speed manual is smooth and super easy. I have had zero issues with it. Literally put gas in, change fluids when Ford says to and thats it. Is unreal reliable. Didn't think Ford was capable of anything like what I've had with this car. Wonder what else I've missed out on being wrong? 95 GT convertible is the perfect car, I got lucky!

I bought the car with only 72,000 miles on it and I expected it to give me trouble-free enjoyment for at least another 40,000. Unfortunately, the car broke down 3 months later (and cost $800 to fix) and broke down every 3 months after that, at similar costs. Never buy a FORD. In all I've put $2,500 in that car on repairs in 1 damn year. Oh, and it depreciated like a mother in that same year, funny how that works. I feel sorry for all those idiots who are still buying new Fords.

Plan on purchasing a new engine

The only thing about this car is that it looks good. Other than that plan on replacing the heads or totally getting a new engine. I will never purchase a Ford again due to their lack of informing that my engine could have defects or them totally giving me the run around when I called to get my vechile fixed. I ended up replacing the engine myself because I was just a few miles over the recall amount. I have had both! It's not worth it in the long run, trust me don't let your heart buy your mind and wallet a nightmare.
