So my car is raining inside. The water is coming in from random places and is soaking the interior of the car....on the liner, the carpet, from the control panel of the sunroof. Well, what I was told to be a sunroof problem is clearly not. More like a manufacturing problem. Since my first review I have had the car back to the dealership four more times for water leaking inside the car and the passenger side window not staying up. The window will come down and not go back up. I have to literally pull over, shut the car off, and restart it to force it up. Car is not even a year old with a little more than 4,100 miles and I have had nothing but a headache with it. I've learned that driving and the sudden falling of water on a driver is not safe, just shock value! So glad I haven't had an accident.

Excellent acceleration, quiet ride, amazing mpg!

I rented a 2017 fully loaded Ford Fusion from Enterprise Car rental in March 2018 and I didn't want to return it. The car was amazing in every aspect. The acceleration was like having a powerful V8 engine, but I think the largest engine they offer is a 4cyl. That was incredible to find out it was not a V8 because the power was truly awesome. Passing, accelerating, having the power to prevent other cars from boxing me in...all of it was awesome. The acceleration was so strong it will actually throw you back in your seat if you step on it. The proximity / keyless system was great. The turn dial transmission was really convenient. The little parking brake button also saves space and resembles a power window button. The dash cluster on the upgraded model I rented was awesome. And right when I didn't think this car could get any better, I open the trunk and discover a really deep spacious cargo area. Honestly, looking at the car you wouldn't expect a massive trunk like that but trust me, it's deep and we put a lot of suitcases and bags in there. Ford did an amazing job with the design of this car. No blind spots, comfortable seats, excellent gas mileage, powerful engine, and the car was really quiet. No road noise, no engine noise, and at times I questioned whether it was a hybrid electric because the strong acceleration was so quiet and fuel efficient, despite me having a little fun with the gas pedal. I strongly suggest you give the Ford Fusion a try if your shopping around. I am going to trade my Toyota in and get one. I was sold after my rental week. The bonus is it looks like a European sports car and I got a lot of compliments.

When picking the car up from the dealership for the first time I got into it and it was dead. Thought nothing of it. Maybe it sat for a while, but no. At first it would be dead every other day to maybe once a week. Now every single time I turn it off regardless of how long it's driven or been idling, it HAS to be jumped. We've had to buy a portable jumper just to bring with us everywhere we go so we can get the car started. And in no way shape or form am I exaggerating, believe me. I even setup my phone and record while I'm driving sometimes because at one time the cluster and radio just turned off for a few seconds then came back on. Now in the shop for the 7th time still with no fix. At least now I've seem to have made a big enough deal about it showing videos I've recorded and making case after case with Ford that the dealership is actually acknowledging the issue. 4 of the previous times I was just told to "stop leaving things plugged in". Been denied a buy back because each time I took it to service there was never any attempts to fix it, well they always told me there's nothing wrong with it so of course there wasn't any attempts to fix it. It's been in shop for nearly a week and a half now and just keep getting told they're trying to pin point the problem, and in the words of the service advisor it needs an "exorcism". This car is a nightmare and extremely unsafe. Been stranded far too many times with it, been late for work, even missed work a few times.

Almost a year now since I bought the car, only has 6500 miles total, it's not my daily driver. It's garage-kept, only driven on dry sunny days, it's my 4-door sports car! In the course of the last 10 months or so, I've seen MAYBE 2 other Fusion Sports on the road. Still think Ford did a VERY poor job at marketing this car, and now that they're going to be like GMC and sell only trucks / SUVs / Mustangs, my Fusion will be a relic in no time. However, since Ford sold a bunch of Fusions, my Sport should be even more of a rarity than it already is. Car is comfortable, quiet, has enough bells and whistles to keep me entertained, and with the 93 octane tune, bigger intercooler, and Go Fast Bits diverter valve, it flat out rips. I have another house down in NC, which is 2.5 hours away, and this car makes the trip a breeze. Adjust the power lumbar, set the cruise control, put it on Sirius channel 33, and I'm gone. Still highly recommend this car against the likes of Accord, Camry, Malibu, Altima, etc. Although folks now say the Kia Stinger GT is its competition, it's not really, mainly because the Kia costs a LOT more than the Fusion Sport. With current discounts and incentives, you get a lot of car for the money with a Fusion Sport.

I could not wait to buy the new twin turbo Fusion Sport. I even had the dealer get the one I wanted from across the state instead of taking what was available locally. Now, 8 months later, it has been in the shop 3 times for windows not staying up and going into the bounce mode. Kind of an issue if it is raining. It took two transports on a flatbed truck to take it to the dealer with a dead battery. The first diagnosis was I left the headlights on. I even told them it was the audio control module. They replaced it the second time the battery went dead. It took 2 more trips to fix coolant leaks. The second time they determined it was a head gasket and pulled the engine to repair. Two more trips to fix oil leaks. Then the final straw. Engine shredded itself internally. Several rockers were broken in half and the timing gears were missing teeth. All these bits distributed themselves through out the motor and destroyed it. It now sits at the dealership with the engine torn down on the floor and with 4,100 miles on the clock! Update: Ford has now purchased the car back from me and I have purchased a new car that does not say Ford on it.
