Great Car

2010 Ford Fusion SEL 4dr Sedan AWD (3.0L 6cyl 6A)

We just love our Fusion, ride performance, looks, everything. The first trip we took it on we averaged 29.9 MPG. Our SEL is a V6, but it isn't AWD. The fit and finish is very good, I have found no defects what so ever. Performance is more than adequate. The MPG is better than I expected. The cross traffic warning system is great when backing out of a parking place between two SUVs. We also love the blind spot warning system.

Auto transmission blows!

As mentioned by many others, the automatic transmission on this car is horrible! Why can't these manufacturers leave well enough alone? The 6 speed doesn't provide any better gas mileage and makes the overall driving experience wretched. It hasn't left me stranded yet, but I expect that it will before too long. I like pretty much everything else about the car, although there are some "basics" (outside temp., auto headlights, etc.) that are missing. Will not buy again unless trans problems are fixed.

Excellent value for the dollar!

2010 Ford Fusion SE 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 6M)

Excellent midsize sedan. The "lesser" trims still pack tons of features, such as our new SE. The engine is more than capable, its not a sports car by any means, but the Mazda derived 6 speed manual lets you have a bit of fun. Sync works well, if a little confusing at first.

Way to go Ford - Your Back!

After owning Honda and Toyota for the past 10 years or so, I decided to give Ford another try. I am very pleased with my choice! Sportier than the Camry and Accord with the bells and whistles I remember from the American companies. I still can't believe that a $30K Accord doesn't have any interior lights in it!!! Quiet and Comfy! Performance is great with the 3.5L V6. Ford didn't take the govt money - because they don't need to. Excellent products sell!!! Way to go Ford!!!

V-6, FWD. Drove to Durango, Co from Denver across the Rockies & averaged 30 mpg. Old car was 2004 Honda Accord EX, V6. Ford is quieter, has as much acceleration, a smoother ride, better gas mileage, and a bigger trunk. It basically cost the same as the Honda did 5 years ago. I got the Moon & Tune package and there is great sound from the speakers. Good traction in snow (I have snow tires on). I went to dealer and asked if he would meet edmunds price and he did--no haggling. I have about 2,800 miles on the car and so far I have no complaints. A very nice car for under $25,000.
