My first car bought in six years. Put a lot of research into it. Love this car. Black on black, tinted windows -- I get so many compliments on the exterior as well as the comfortable ride. Gas mileage is excellent. I do mostly in town driving so I average in the 30's; highway close to 40. First hybrid I have owned. I love it!!

Certain parts of this vehicle I love but at 2300 miles I already have my second service engine light on so back to the shop I go. I also don't like the complete and outright lie on the 41mpg. Fill the tank up and the estimated miles to empty is 535 miles. It is a 17 gallon tank. Do the math, that is only 31.5 miles per gallon. I do however get more than 31.5 mpg but seems dumb to say you get 41 mpg and then show you will only get 31.5 mpg after filling the tank. Maybe I just got a lemon but not happy that I am going back to service AGAIN! EV mode can work up to 47mph but only at coasting speeds. Put one small hill in the way and it is gone.

I took delivery on my Fusion Hybrid Thursday and set out on a road trip on Saturday. I love everything about this car. You won't experience BMW type fun, but if you want a comfortable, poised and compliant ride with amazing gas mileage this is the car for you! I got 37.0 MPG on my first tank (105 miles city, 440 miles Interstate). I got 33.0 MPG on my all Interstate return trip. And I understand that I can expect better in warm weather. (I travelled on Feb. 9 - 10.) The interior is extremely comfortable and SYNC is cool beyond belief. I'm so glad I didn't go for the Chevy just because of On-Star! SYNC out-performs On-Star. Everyone who saw admired the styling.

Best Car I've Ever Owned

I purchased my 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid in July 2015. I was VERY lucky to find one at a low price with very low miles. This is truly the best car I've ever owned. The technology is *outstanding* and the comfort superior for a vehicle at this price point. Performance and reliability so far have been great for a mid-size sedan. This is the first hybrid I've ever owned, and it took some getting used to when the gas engine would shut off as I idled - or the way it doesn't seem to "start" when I turn the key. But the mileage and easy care have been well worth the adjustment! I would recommend a Ford Fusion Hybrid to anyone looking for a vehicle in or near its class.

Ultra low cost to own

This is my second '10 Hybrid Fusion and I've owned it for about 6 or 7 years. The only thing that's quit working is the driver's side heated seat and a $15 AC sensor that I've replaced twice myself. I've got 190,000 miles and it's still extremely reliable. There is an O2 sensor throwing a check engine light when it's above 50 F (checked by OBDII scan) but it drives perfectly even so. I change the oil, full synthetic every 4,000 miles. Maybe overkill but I think it's helped maintain the car without any engine issues at all. Highly recommended.
