Used 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid Consumer Reviews
Marines Would Rather Drive A FFH.
I'm a Marine who drives 100 miles everyday to work. I was in the market for a Hybrid because of that and it was between this, Altima, Camry, Insight, and Prius.. and I'm very happy I chose a FFH. The size impressed me immediately, I didn't expect much from a mid-size sedan, a FORD one. Wonderful sparkling black paint. And once I'm in, I'm impressed by the soft, high-quality interior; And I own a 2001 Infiniti Q45 as well. Saves me so much money and power is most sufficient. A Prius actually coerced me and I left that stupid thing in the dust. I'm glad someone made a hybrid that can fit my family, doesn't look stupid. A CAR first + Hybrid.
Excellent as expected
I've been waiting for a true hybrid built by Ford or GM. When I first heard the initial ads I scoured the internet looking for real people reviews. I never found a bad one, every review was a rave. So I bought it. After a month and one long trip, so far, it's exactly as advertised. I've been getting 39-42 around town and on my first trip got 37.5 cruising at 65-75. The empower dash is simply amazing. Shifting from EV to gas is almost unperceivable. Most of today's econoboxes are ugly (think Prius), cramped, and unsafe. But the FFH looks like a car, drives like a car, handles like a car. In fact if you chose the basic dash you'd never know you're in a hybrid except when you go to get gas.

Just an Amazing Vehicle
Like most here, we were looking for a Hybrid or other fuel efficient car, but it had to have all luxury appointments. Traded out a Mercedes for the Fusion. (THINK ABOUT THAT !) Because we drive under 10k miles/year, all highway, and we questioned whether we should just purchase a new luxo- cruiser or go Green. We chose to split the difference. After short-listing the expected cars, we drove this Fusion Hybrid in full-tilt trim. Almost on the spot, we were sold. Expected fears of buying American, build quality, reputation, status, etc weighed on us, but this car has the goods. Seriously. Drive one. This car is much better than the Mercedes it replaced.
Delivers - A Ford this good?
Well, this IS a sweet car. I rides incredibly ... much like my past two Honda Accords. The GPS display is large, and the number of computerized features on this vehicles is staggering. It is HIGH TECH, really top end. I can voice control everything except the steering. My wife was predisposed against the FORD until she rode in/drove it. I'm getting 39-50 mpg with a little hypermiling effort. It's a total winner ... IF ... it hold up and is reliable over time. Bottom line ... this is a GREAT car!
Love It So Far -- Hopefully Will Hold Up
I've had a little over than a month with this car so far, so it might very well be still the honeymoon period, but the comfort and the fuel economy are great. It has the power available when you need it, and is sensibly designed. No real weaknesses that I can see.
