Happy so far
I traded in my 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid after 7 years. The gas mileage for the Fusion is a little better in city (41 vs. 35-40), but a little worse on the hwy (38 vs. 45-50), but it has a more room, a lot more acceleration, it's much more comfortable, and the handling is much better. Very happy so far. Hopefully it will be reliable. My hybrid battery on the Civic went out at 5 1/2 yrs, but luckily it was covered under warranty. The wouldn't tell me what it would cost, but the service recored printouts I requested when I sold the Civic had a list price of ~ $4,000 for the battery. Hopefully the price will come down before the Fusion's goes out.
Happy so far
Rides well, very comfortable. Not much different than a non-hybrid. The dash display is helpful and not distracting. Have driven approximately 100 miles and averaging about 35 mpg (mostly city driving). Only problem has been with the SYNC- it won't recognize my ipod- so back to the dealer. Overall very happy after the first few days of ownership.

Worth the Wait
We ordered our Fusion Hybrid on March 2, to take advantage of the maximum tax credit given on the car. We were trading in a Towncar, so wanted a version that had the creature comforts we were used to with heated leather and sunroof, etc. The car arrived on in late April and has so far been trouble free except for the fact that one of our cellphones won't link up with the Sync System.
Amazing Car!
I LOVE this car! I was looking at a Hybrid and I was thinking about a Prius but they are too small and I didn't like the futuristic interior. I would highly recommend the leather seats and, my favorite, the 8" navigation screen. Sync is fantastic voice recognition for directions, phone calls, finding places of interest, etc. Overall, a great experience that is worth every penny!
Great Car
Perfect, got the 502A package, well worth it. I love how the Ford sync works with navigation. Such high quality, I can't believe it is a Ford. I'm getting high 30's to low 40's MPG. Ford built a fun factor in a hybrid. Much better than the competition. The interior feels like a luxury car. Nice handling too.
