I like it
I've had the car about 3 weeks and I've driven about 400 miles mostly highway and I'm averaging around 35 mpg. Despite what Ford says I seem to get better gas mileage on the hwy vs the city. The problem with the city driving is that unless you crawl out of each stop the car switches to the gas engine and it brings the gas mileage way down. The problem is if you drive the car like the smart gauges suggest (at least in CA) you'd be driven off the road by someone with road rage. It's just impracticle to take 30-60 seconds just to get up to 10-15 miles per hour. A little dissapointed on this front but all in all a great fun car to drive.
Ford Fusion Hybrid - the future is here!
I have not owned my Hybrid for very long (since it's a 2010), but the car is fun to drive and worth the money. I drive an equal mix of highway, rural and city, I average 37.5 miles a gallon (WOW). The car is very streamlined inside and out. I have the 501A package and I'm very happy. Don't think because it's a hybrid it will be lacking on power. This can move and excellerate with its strong 2.5L engine, which has almost 200HP. It is a smooth ride, but with a different style of tires and rims it could be a little smoother. Drives like a sports car, room like a sedan and gas sipper like a sub-compact. The back seat will hold 3 people but as with any car its size it would be a tight fit.

2010 Fusion Hybrid
Love this car. Put 135,000 on it so far with no major repairs, only regular maintenance. When first purchased new, was getting about 42 mpg, now getting around 34mpg. I'm not sure if it's because the batteries are older now or that I am not trying as hard to keep mpg low. Purchased new loaded with all accessories. Really a great car.

The best American Car on the Road
Yes, I know it's made in Mexico, but this is a home run for Ford. I get 600 miles a tank in town. I live in a part of the country that can be flat for the most part and this definitely helps MPG as I can coast quite a bit. This thing flat out rolls! It has no engine braking down hills so it can take off like a soap box derby racer. The SYNC system works flawlessly with my iPhone. Sound quality is great from the Sony speakers. I can't complain about anything so far other than a little bit of yearning for a better seat. Very satisfied with the purchase.
I love this car!
I've waited 6 months to write a review on my new Fusion Hybrid, to see how it's been going. I must say I made the right choice for me. 95% of my driving is in the city and I am overall averaging between 43-44 mpg - better than what Ford lists. I cannot believe the great mpg, the car is so far very solid, fun to drive, and definitely an eye catcher. Everyone I know told me to "but a real car" - now all the nay-sayers are telling me what a great choice I made and that they love this car. I really don't care what they thought anyway, but it is nice to hear. Time will tell if the mpg holds up and I am hoping it will. If you do mostly city driving - this is the car for you!
