Used 2002 Ford Focus Consumer Reviews
2002 focus x5
this is a new car, have had it a couple weeks, and find it to be a very good driver, fun, even. Instrument placement is good, stereo w/6cd a no charge bonus. My only negative comment, and caveat to future buyers, is to check the upholstery for bad seam work. Day two, I noticed that the upper back seat back, had a 3 inch defect in the upper corner seaming, i could place three fingers in the hole, so beware of the stitch work. Personally i didnt sign off on the purchase order until the dealer orderred a new seat cover for the rear upper seat. This they did reluctantly, hopefully thats the only gremlin to be found. We like the car very much!
Nice Car...fun to drive!
So far I have only put 1,000 miles on this car in a little less than a month. I have been very happy with this car having previously owned a 2000 Ford Contour. This Focus ZX5 is getting better to drive each day as the engine continues to break in. I would also like to add that this car handles very well.

How can Ford make money selling this car
If you are in the market for a "Hot Hatch" look no further. 170 hp of usable power in a four cylinder until now did not exist. Ford's SVT team has done it. My previous car was a ZTS that I had turned into a good looking and performing economy car with a few simple modifications, but it can't compare to the SVT. The ZTS is a very nice car don't get me wrong, but for $3500 more you can get an elite vehicle that is unmatched in its segment. The only trick is getting one, they are only supplying 7500 to the american market. Good Luck!
Focus Forever! Part II
Excellent Car! I really love it, but there are some little things that could be improved. Isn't that true with most newer models?

I really like this car alot. Its fun to drive and handles really well since I had it only 6 weeks. I would definetly recommend this car for somebody who wants to spend between 14 and 15 thousands for a compact car.
