The HD Fords are gorgeous trucks inside and out. The diesel engine is quite powerful and also good on gas mileage. Only problem we've had is the transmission. At 73K we are replacing ours. We've hauled a horse trailer a few times but the rest is highway miles. Other then that, the truck is awesome!

One fine truck. Works for me, day, and night, 24-7. We took this truck through the mud on Mt. Hood almost to its axles, with a 5000 Lb. camper on its back. We have more or less street tires on it, and it pulled up through without a hitch.

I purchased my Superduty with the Powerstroke diesel, manual 6 speed and single rear wheel for one purpose: to tow a 30' 5th wheel RV. It is great! I've hauled my trailer up the steep grades in Death Valley, the Sierra Nevada mountains and southern Oregon without a problem. I can hold 50-55 mph up 6% grades without a problem. All this whilegetting 13-14 mpg (18-20 mpg unloaded). The crew cab has plenty of room for our two kids and 85 lb boxer. It has a comfortable ride and handles great considering its dry weight is 7200 lbs.. It cost me $10,000 less than the comparable GM with the Duramax engine. I highly recommend the Ford PSDs for your towing needs.
