I've been planning on buying a new truck for a year now. Have always loved Ford's trucks and I think the F-250 is as good-looking as any out there. The 6.0 turbo-diesel is awesome! The noise level is very acceptable (i.e. quiet) the ride height of the 4WD crew cab is great and the power.....FANTASTIC! I've only burned half a tank so can't give mileage figures, but my Lariat's onboard computer says I'm getting 15mpg and half of my miles have been stop and go in town. The other half is split between interstate and country backroads. The fold down platforms under the rear seats provide a perfectly flat storage area. Not cheap, but worth every penny!

5.4 eng+4spd auto+4WD+4.10 lim slip axle= poor gas mileage, lucky to get 14mpg highway w/no load or trailer in tow.Another review reported getting 20+mpg highway with essentially the same set-up.They must drive downhill w/50 mph tailwinds all the time to get 20+mpg or they're dreaming.Poor gas mileage aside,it's a great truck.Wish it had the adjustable pedals.

I enjoy my truck so much. Great for long trips plenty of room for family of 5 with four door cab. The adjustable pedals and back up warning are great options. Had ton of rock on truck and it hauled it like it wasnt back there. Truck even rode softer with load on. No problems with truck just routine maintance

I recently traded off my Duramax. I only had it for 7 months. Hated it. I needed a truck that could hold up to a lot of work. My Chevy was always having problems. The trans. went out at only 15,000 miles and I was always having little things on the interior break. Locks quick working, power seat quit working, etc. All my friends kept telling me that I needed to get a Ford if I was really going to work a truck. I did and I will never go back.
