Used 2000 Ford F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab Consumer Reviews
AWESOME TRUCK
I love my truck. It's big enough for me, my tools and all the heavy and big stuff that I carry around town. Although I see people complaining from harsh ride on the road when not loaded, mine rides extremely soft and comfortable even with bad shocks...hehehe. With 140,000 miles on it the Diesel is still ready to work; no mechanical problems whatsoever. Telescoping mirrors stick out a little too much and kind of hard to maneuver around tight spaces, but excellent view for daily driving and tow. Excellent interior, comfortable, roomy, you sit like a king above the crowd!
Tough f250
I love my F-250. I bought it used with 48,000 miles in 2004 it has been a good strong truck there is nothing I would change about it I currently have 91,000 miles on it and it doesnt skip a beat. The towing is awesome and going off road is not a problem!

Ford F-250 Diesel
Ford has the best interior layout - the controls are easy to see and reach without searching. The only interior negative is that Ford always places the electronic 4WD switch in a way that you cannot see what position it is in on automatic transmission vehicles when the shift lever is in Drive or Overdrive. Ford trucks are harder riding but longer lasting. If you want a cadillac with a cargo box, buy chevy. If you want a truck that says "Is that all you got to haul?" buy a Ford F-250.
Problems
I have the crew cab with the V10 and the 5 speed manual transmission. I have had numerous problems with my vehicle. The problems include turning signal switch failure 2 times. Noises throughout the cab that are still occuring (popping noises from door pillar areas). CD failure (skipping tracks)right after delivery. Noise from transfer case (unresolved). Poor A/C output (not cold enough), heater works great. Rear brakes squeak (unresolved).
F250 Excellence
I tow a 33' 5th wheel, so this truck is one tough Ford. Handles extremely well and looks great. Very comfortable and ergonomic. No mechanical or other problems experienced.
