Electrical problems
I purchased a brand new 2021 Ford F-150 and the second day I drove it I experienced electrical problems I would walk by the truck and hear clicking like the door wants to unlock but it doesn’t and then heat was stuck on high when the AC was on it was blowing Hot air and the seat warmers would come on and it’s July there seams to be a problem with the trucks coming out of the Kansas City Missouri plant.
Really upset and frustrated with this Lemon.
Bought new 2021 ford f150 stx supercab 2.7 eco. Put $10g down as a deposit. Shudders, surges, shakes when underload on the highway worse as you accelerate or maintain speed up hill. Been to ford dealership 5 times, as of this article it has been there 4 weeks. Yes 4 weeks, no end in sight. They have changed the valve body, throttle body, pcm computer, sparks plugs, coils to no avail And my last visit i finally got a little annoyed (no cussing, or personal insults) after i found out after 4 weeks and regional engineer had just downloaded data the day before. Then the service manager told me to take it down the road to someone else after he didn't like the tone of my voice. Ford customer service= deflect deflect deflect and that goes for the customer service line aswell - useless 7 weeks total not having use and making payments. Im really choked up about this. I work really hard for my money and I really don't need the abuse. At 19,000 kms there hasn't been 1 happy time driving it. I want out but selling dealer offered me wholesale which means after $10k down and payments for a year i stand to loose $15 + .[non-permissible content removed]!

Rusty!
Just got a 2021 XLT 4x4 and took it home to realize there’s rust all over the diff and the connectors to the drive shaft. The rust has sprayed all over the undercarriage. I took it back to the dealer only to receive a rude service manager telling me they won’t do anything and it’s only surface rust. Well if it’s only surface rust at least offer to clean it! I don’t see how any rust is not something to worry about. It’s a beautiful truck but I’m definitely bummed on this...

Front seats
Just purchased a new 2021 F150 Super Cab. Found the front seats too narrow and the bolsters on the pad way too hard. In fact so hard they hurt your hips after 15 minutes of driving. I have had other friends drive it and they all agree. I also have a 2016 F250 and the seats are beautiful and comfortable. I measured the difference and found the 2021 seats were 4" narrower. I am not a big guy, 5' 10" 180lbs. but cannot stand driving this new truck. I have had it back to the dealer and complained to Ford and neither want to do anything about this problem. I have tried the new Dodge and Chev trucks and found the seats a lot more comfortable to the point where I am going to trade this Ford in on a new Dodge or Chev.
Technology and Service need to catch up
I will give the 2021 F150 a star because the ride comfort is fantastic. Mine is completely totaled becuase of a lighning strike 114 feet from the truck. It destroyed 5 of the 6 networks. Another F150 was brought in the same day becuase of a lightning strike on the house where the truck was in garage. Same issues. A friend of mine had a friend with a 150 in a nearby city also struck by lightning. None of these are direct hits. Just nearby hits. My wifes Honda sitting 3 feet away was not touched. Ford needs to get their act together on electronics. I'm done.
