3.5 V6 Turbo LEMON
Throws engine lights every time you tow 3000lbs! Fords answer, put premium gas in it. After almost 90 days in the shop that was their answer. It worked until I tried towing 5000lbs then the light started again. Goodby lemon I hope the next sucker that buys this pos has better luck.

Missing on the little things
Had the opportunity to drive a 2020 F-150 Lariat for a few days as a rental. All of the big stuff went well but it missed on several quality things. The 10 speed auto is clunky at low speed. The backup camera stopped working for an evening. It worked fine the next day but it shouldn't have any troubles in a brand new truck. The backup camera did not switch off a couple times even after putting the truck in drive and moving forward. The gear indicator in the dash intermittently stopped working. The touch screen was slow to respond. Probably my biggest issue though was with the built in gps. It seems to be scaled for low speed city driving and does not give you information soon enough for something like local highways or complex interstate interchanges. Seems to be an alright enough truck that failed to execute on the finer details.

2020 5.0
i dont like the safety features, don't like the 10 speed, don't like the aluminum body. I sold my brand new truck for what i bought it for and purchased a 2006 f250 powerstroke 6 speed manual 4x4 and it tows way better

Outstanding!
This truck has a phenomenal ride and impressive power. My first trip with it of 130 miles it got 21.4 mpg. Better than the '18 Tacoma 4cyl. I traded in for it. With a lot more comfort, I might add. And the 2nd row has so much leg room and cargo space when the seats are up. No regrets here. Love it.

2020 f150
Let’s start with the moonroof. Absolute waste of time and energy. Who’s looking up really. If someone is in the back. Who cares. The suspention. I drove on a bit of a bumpy side road and the truck bounced all over the place. A car would have been smoother. Tires. Soft and weak. Let’s get to the good stuff. The 10 speed tranny. A complete and utter failure. It shifts all the time , jerking the truck and hesitating everywhere. It shifts like your driving a random oil tanker. They make the truck slow and irresponsive unless you absolutely bury your foot in it. No cruising casually. It feels like your driving a tub full of water. I feel unsafe because the truck is always doing something. I think and react faster than this tranny and truck. The 2016 F150 used to be a rocket in sport mode now it’s a lame slug that hesitates all the time. A jerky jerky mess. Then when you forget what a piece of crap your driving for a huge expense every month and you sit at a light the piece of crap turns itself off all to save what a buck a tank of gas. All the wear and tear starting and stopping all the time. Again when you want to go the truck has to start up then get moving and shift into third by the time you get through the light. The brakes seem soft and with the 20 inch tires it over steers and doesn’t corner well. I’ve had 4 brand new F150s over the last 12 years and this is a dog at $50,000 plus. At $29,000 maybe a good truck. My rating. Piece of crap
