Used 2005 Ford F-150 SuperCab Consumer Reviews
Ford F-150
This truck was unlike any truck i have had before. It provide the towing capacity i needed, while still being fun to drive. It does really well offroad, and has excellent acceleration.
could have been better
9000 miles and front brakes chatter, dealer says that's just the way it is. He seems to think I abuse it as I'm 60 years old. Never pulled a trailer with it and drive like a normal person. Doors sound like they are full of nuts and bolts driving over a rough road, again thats just the way it is. Salesman says i should have driven it over a rough road before I bought it, however he was good enough to offer to take it on trade for a '05 model. Something funny going on with the gas gauge as it took 30 minutes for it to register full after the last fill up. Gets 16 mpg around town and 17 on road.

Better Than My 2001
We decided to replace our old truck with the newer version. Wow, this thing is really neat. As a pilot, I know what a vehicle should do, and this one does what it says, including towing our Rinker Cabin Cruiser which weighs almost 10,000 lbs. It is very comfortable and rides better than most cars I've been in. What can I say, it is awesome!

I bought this 2004 model F-150 as a replacement to my 2001 F-150 and am very pleased with the '04 model year. I really liked my '01 but it got hit in a wreck and had to be replaced. Would I recommend the 2005 models, darn sure would.
Ford, is it the best in Texas?
I believe Ford has come a long way in the re-engineering department. I love the quiet ride. I own a 2002 Ford Explorer also, and the new F150 is a much quieter ride. I do believe they all need running bars for short people. This should be standard on all of the Ford pickups. As always there is still room for improvement.
