Have had a lot of problems with the drive train on this vehicle. Rear end problems started at around 13,000 miles. Had 2 rear end rebuilds on this truck. Engine problems began around 60,000 miles. Had cam problems. Cam eventually broke at 85,000 miles. Apparently a problem with this model Ford. Ford has not offerd to help repair.
Still neutral on performance.
Handles well, comfortable interior, great looks. Deep beds are a plus. Fairly loud when driving around town; also a bit sluggish, especially when pulling a trailer. The rear-end sounds odd when cruising at higher speeds.

I find the vehicle to be very comfortable, and would recommend the vehicle to anyone shopping for a pick up truck
Built tough
Only problem I had was a few weeks ago at 44000 miles my electronic throttle control went bad. Recall replaced bad fuel injectors, funny ever since they did that the truck flies, very noticeable power change. Other than that its great very smooth on road. On trip from Ohio to Texas received 25+ using cruise control on highway.
Excellent Truck
Very nice truck, well designed. New front end. Like the design from the side view. Very roomy inside, enough for six people. Nice ride. Handles the road real well. I have full power seats, windows locks, power mirrors, and even a power rear sliding window, signals in the mirrors, 4.6 motor. Gas mileage could be a little better, I guess, for this size truck. 13 mpg. city and about 17.5 mpg on highway.
