I have a 2004 Ford Explorer with 169000 miles, has been the best car we have ever owned,my wife drives it everyday to work,we also have a 2015 Ford Explorer with 26000 miles that we enjoy as our travel and weekend vehicle! We have enjoyed both for the ride, handling and overall problem free experience , both bought new and would buy one again , based on a great experience with Ford! I drive a F250 bought new in 2002 and have had the same great service with over 150000 miles ! Build Ford Tough!!

Direct injection engines are prone to carbon build up on the back side of the intake valves...be aware of this...

A Little Carbon Monoxide with your Drive?

Don't risk it! I spent close to $50k for this car which I thought was a dream and turned out to be a nightmare. The cabin fills with carbon monoxide any time the engine is under a full throttle application (i.e. going up a grade, or merging onto the freeway) and Ford has yet to be able to fix it, even after performing their latest Tsb's and updates. They've left me and my children to drive around in this car filled with a deadly gas.
