Used 1999 Ford Expedition Consumer Reviews
Money Pit
Ater 45000 miles, things started to go wrong. Transmission replaced, CD player replace, heated seats repaired, rear- end replaced. Thank goodness for the extended warranty or we would have had over $6,000 in repairs ove the last year. Lease is finally up, will not be getting another one.
Worth the Money
I purchased it new in September 1999 after wrecking my beloved Bronco. I threw the third seat away for it is a waste of space and too heavy. I commute in Buffalo, NY to my hospital job in as much as seven feet of snow, ice. I never missed a day of work. It never failed to start even in -17 degree weather, I still have the original battery it came with. I recently relocated to Las Vegas. I averaged 17 mpg with the truck loaded down. I have had only general maintance performed on the vechile. Except for a set of tires everything is original.

Happy with this one
No real problems with this unit; bot it new, drive it skiing over ice/snow and handles well; good cruiser on freeway and about town.
Best SUV on the Market
I have owned this truck for 4 years now, buying it with 72000 miles and currently 120,000, absolutely no problem! I drive it 50 miles a day and it's been ol' reliable. I know that when I look at a new one in a few years they will be just as good.
Worth Every Penny
Bought used 47000 miles, now has over 66000 miles. Have had no problems. Has been through many snow storms and drives very well in them. Best Truck on the road.
