Run Away!
When I turned on the AC for the first time this year it made a loud grinding noise for a few seconds, then never cooled. Took it in to the dealership to check and for regular 45,000 mile maintenance. Dealer called and gave the following description of the problem ..."in the AC dryer there is a filter bag with "little blue balls" of dessicant. It seems that it is a very common problem that these filter bags burst and flood the entire AC system with the balls (aka "debris") which causes all the parts to fail and or clog. Many of the parts can't be effectively flushed so the have to be replaced." The cost to replace the entire AC system (all valves, tubes, hoses, evaporator, compressor, condens
Escape from the world!
I love my escape! I would rebuy this exact same Model again if I could. The limited has some interior lights which you can change colors , heated seats, lots of cargo space and extremely comfortable to drive. It’s also a 6 cylinder which is great merging onto the interstate. Plenty of Elbow with room ! Has lighted driver mirror, blind spot mirrors , electric driver seat and the passenger seat goes back really far so it’s great for a nap on a road trip.

Best car I've ever owned!
I have a 2010 Ford Escape and I bought it used with 60,000 MI currently I have 230,000 MI and still running strong. Only problem I ever had was the valve cover gasket which I fixed myself in about an hour and only cost me like $20 besides that I only done regular maintenance. It's surprisingly good to off-road and snow and great Mpg for a suv. I highly recommend this vehicle.

Very Happy
Replaced my RAV4 with a 6 cyl Escape. To date, Hwy mileage = 25.6 mpg, City driving = just over 20 mpg. No strange noises like some others have experienced and shifting is very smooth. Headlights are very powerful and handling and passing power are more than adequate. Did a 350 mile trip today and found the seats to be totally comfortable. All in all I'm very happy.
A Solid Vehicle
My Escape has never failed me. I bought it 2 years ago w/ 78k miles and it’s needed very minimal work. I love how spacious it is (especially when I’ve moved houses three times). The Escape’s performance on snow and ice exceeded my expectations— it drives very smoothly and maintains great traction.
