I purchased this truck because of the quality I heard from friends. It is a compact SUV with lots of room and such a smooth ride. My mother has health problems and it was easy for her to enter and exit the vehicle with little effort!

I am handicapped and was in need of dependable vehicle for my wife. We looked at several vehicles and the Escape suited our needs the best of all. We are very satisfied.

The Ford Escape is a small suv with lots of room. You can carry tons of stuff and feel like you have an SUV while at the same time feeling like you are driving a car. The car is cute, young and fun and it looks nice! I am amazed at the gas mileage. I live in Coral springs and was able to go to Orlando and back on one tank of gas - like 290 miles on the highway! Love this car. It is actually my company car. I drive a lot for work and spend over five hours per day in this car. I always feel comfortable and the inside is spacious.

Having owned a BMW X5, I find this SUV more fun to drive. No it doesn't have all the bells but I really don't need all the bells. I can turn on the wipers when it rains. I also own a new Explorer and find the Escape a better ride. I got 21.5 mpg on my first tank which was local driving and 24 mpg on my first long trip.
