Used 2003 Ford Escape Consumer Reviews
My honeymoon with Ford is over!
I bought this car from a dealership with about 40,000 miles. I drive less than 10,000 miles a year but the repair costs on this car have ended my honeymoon with Ford -I cant wait to pay it off and never, ever tough a Ford! I had a Mazda before and then decided to try American but this was a big mistake. Unless Ford works on its quality, they will definitely collapse. I just got a Honda for my wife! The catalyst convertor, peeling paint, the engine light never halts!
escape vs other small suv's
I test drove the honda crv and the mitsubishi outlander. Both of these vehicles were four cylinders and just didn't have the pep of the escape six cylinder. The interior is roomy and outside very stylish. We've had one nine inch snow storm and one ice storm. The escape handled like a charm in bad weather. The extra power is well worth it despite a slight drop in full economy. So far I'm averaging twenty five mpg on the highway and a very smooth ride at that

real escape review
Having an escape as my first car, i was a little skeptical at first. But getting behind the wheel makes me feel safe and in control. With the engine of a large SUV and the size of a compact, this car has some definite power if you know how to use it. Not a difficult ride, smooth and enjoyable. The escape is a definite recommendation for a test drive.
