Best Hybrid around for SUV use

2006 Ford Escape Hybrid 4dr SUV (2.3L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

I needed an SUV for hauling and this model is excellent with plenty of storage in the back seat and trunk area. Very peppy on the road and the smooth transition from battery to gas is not felt at all. Very happy owner! I drive lots of freeway traffic and like the way the car handles at all speeds.

Best Features

Ease and drivability. The ease the engine moves from gas to battery and back to gas smoothly. Interior controls so you know what is going on with the vehicle at all times.

Worst Features

The rear tinted window develops a diamond pattern when driving with polarized sunglasses. Not evident when regular glasses. This can be a distraction when driving and looking in your rear view tinted window. Only shows when darkest UV tint is ordered. It would be better if dark clear.
