I should of gotten a honda
Bought a 2015 Dodge Journey brand new off the lot, 2 weeks in and had to take it back to the dealership, it was jerking alot. Three years go by with no problem and one day after work we just heard a loud bang and the car would not go into drive or reverse. Thank god we where at the corner of my house. Had it towed to the dealer two weeks went by and they did not even know what was wrong with the car. Now the warranty is over and it hasn’t been three months that we got it back from the dealership and again we are noticing that when we shift the gear to reverse or drive it makes a noise. Don’t know what to do. Hate this car, will never again buy a dodge.

2015 Journey Crossroad
Our recent purchase was after much research. I admit being a Mopar fan, I lean towards Dodge but try to keep an objective outlook. With just 1000 miles, the 3.6L, V6 AWD is giving 20-21 MPG around town here which is a pleasant surprise. The average MPG bar display keeps me conscientious of my driving habits. The seats are comfortable and there is plenty of room for my 6' frame. I like the size of the Crossroad with the 3rd row seating, the storage, the adjustable telescoping steering column and front and rear climate controls as well as the key-less entry and starting. The entertainment and sound system other controls are easily accessible and I find them intuitive to operate.
Never Again
I have owned 8 Dodges. It is only a 2015 and it has 115,000 miles on it. 50 miles ago, the transmission went completely out on it. I opened a case with Dodge in hopes they would grant repair assistance giving the age of the vehicle and the fact that I have been a very loyal dodge customer. They denied my request. If you want a sporty, attractive AWD Suv that will last only 100,000 miles than this is the SUV for you. Do not allow it to get past the drive train warranty. The AWD portion of this SUV is by far the best vehicle I have ever driven in the snow of Indiana.

Great at first, but within a nightmare ensued
I bought a 2015 Dodge Journey Crossroad in August 2015. By August 29, 2016 it has been worked on six different times. We have had to have the stereo system/Sirius XM replaced twice. A few times the SUV would not start and when it did start the display lights would not come on. The check engine light has popped on so many times I have lost count and when we went to go get it checked out it mysteriously goes away. Most of the time when the check engine light comes on it is the fuel cap sensor. We shut it very tight but the mechanic at the dealership says he sees it often with the Journeys and all we have to do is go to him to turn it off. That is very inconvenient being a military family and moving soon. Today, on 8/29/16 the code that popped up says the the crank angle sensor has an issue, with it not wanting to turn on lately that makes a lot of sense. The inside is what drew us in. The sleek outside and the comfortable inside with Bluetooth, XM, and A/C throughout the car it was an awesome buy, or so we thought. We traded our 2013 Honda Odyssey in and it was the worst mistake we made. We are now looking into getting a different car only to realize the trade-in value plummeted so quickly and although the dealership agrees we have had numerous problems for a new car, they refuse to do anything about it except keep giving us the run around about why it has so many issues. **the dealership took the Journey back because of all the problems that we had. We purchased a new 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. I loved the interior and ride of the Journey but it was not reliable enough for our family.
