Put 96k miles on my 2017 and getiing a 2019

I like the Grand Caravan for the comfort and versatility. I put about 33,000 miles a year on my van. My 2017 only needed a battery and one set of tires and brakes over 96,000 miles of highway driving. Just ordered a black 2019 SXT. With the chrome trim it looks like a limo!

Not Enough Stow N Go or Milage

I was asked why we decided not to purchase the 2017 Dodge Caravan (Base Model). While the wife loved it, I found fault with the mid-row seats that did NOT Stow N Go (a feature that drew us to look at Caravans. We actually looked at and drove a new 2016 that was priced around 20K 'out the door.'I also found the gas mileage a bit disappointing - apparently these minivans are larger and heavier than I thought. Replacing our Hyundai sedan would have significantly increased our operating costs. And, of course, you never get the the mileage shown on the stickers!

Having this Van for 18 months, I absolutely DISLIKE the vehicle. The antenna does not go down, therefore one should not enter the speedy carwash. The safety issue on this car is horrible it should be reported to the National Safety Department, the passenger doors do not open with the button or otherwise. Absolutely no warning the doors were going out come all of a sudden the children are stuck in the car only can exit through the hatch back or climb over the seats to get to the front door. The radio system sucks, audio is great but if you want to call somebody it Miss reads what name you are saying and come up with names you never heard of or names that are not even in your phone. What I like about the vehicle it is flex fuel so yes I'm using E85. Overall I absolutely hate this vehicle.

No beeping alerts

On my trip to Maui I rented this van to drive to see if I would buy one in the future. The handling and acceleration was decent for the van with 4 kids. It was my second day and was still driving it around and enjoying my vacation. Was not aware of all the functions on the key controls. Just lock and unlock. I must have accidentally hit the open truck key and was not aware of it beenopen. There was no beeping sound or flashing alert on the dash like my Toyota van. I drove the car out of the car port and the trunk window got shattered because it was to high. I believe this to be a design default. My lost
