By far most under rated vehicle on the road today!
I have had my Durango SRT for 14 months now and its the most fun vehicle I've ever owned (and I've owed A LOT of vehicles). Its been great to my growing family with plenty of room, smooth ride, plenty of tech and safety features!! I would HIGHLY recommend any dad out there looking for a super cool SUV that will fit his family but wants to maintain being a "car guy".

Big fat lemon and not safe to drive!
We started off on our maiden voyage with this vehicle in 2021, and within an hour of driving it, the cruise control failed. I have had it back to two different dealership to fix this problem, and still no luck. Most recently, we were on a trip to Half Moon Bay and we were driving in the Santa Cruz mountains when this piece of junk fell apart on us. On a very windy road, suddenly I received multiple warning lights in the instrument cluster such as: service shifter, service engine, service trailer brake, service SOS system. Soon after these warning lights popped up, the vehicle became stuck in 3rd gear. We were trying to limp our way back to our hotel in Half Moon Bay when the power steering failed going into a sharp curve with a cliff. It was a very scary situation, as I had to slam the breaks on and muscle the car around the sharp curve. We eventually were able to limp back to our hotel. We had the Durango towed to a nearby dealership from the hotel. This dealership informed me there was a 'bulletin' about the problems I had experienced and that they had reset the system and the car was repaired and safe to drive. Long story short, after driving the vehicle over 200 miles on my way back to Reno, the Durango had all of the same failures occur, including the power steering failing. Luckily, I was within 1 mile of my home when this occurred; otherwise, I would have been stranded in the mountains somewhere between Reno and Sacramento. I had the vehicle towed to my local dealership where I bought the car in Reno several days ago. I contacted Dodge/SRT customer service about the severe and dangerous malfunctions this vehicle is continuing to experience, and I contacted management of the local Reno Dodge dealership as well, and have requested a buyback on this vehicle, since it is obviously not reliable or safe to drive. If you have never experienced losing power steering on a newer vehicle, it is hair raising and super scary, as the wheel can barely be turned when this occurs. Needless to say, it has been several days since I contacted Dodge/SRT customer service requesting a buyback/refund for this obviously unsafe and defective vehicle. My advice to anyone who owns one of these lemons, beware of these possible safety issues and stay alert, and do not drive this vehicle aggressively in the event the power steering fails. I hope anyone who owns one of these special limited edition Dodge Durango Hellcat's has much better luck with it than we have had!

Hellcat Hellyeah
The Hellcat version of the Durango is a riot. You have three rows, captains seats in row two and launch control. We have driven ours over 15,000 miles. Only issue was steering wheel alignment was off at the steering head. Irregular tire wear and cupping is occurring. I have the tires and wheels rotated and balanced at every oil change to minimize but the camber and caster alignment settings are more aggressive due to the performance nature of the vehicle and tires. We LOVE this Durango. Would buy another one if was available.

Durango R/T 2021
Durango is my favorite model from Dodge! Have 3 other Durangos in my past and have enjoyed each one. This new purchase is probably the best of them all! Very comfortable ride with all the amenities you could ask for in a SUV.
