Purchased my car New from the State of Georgia. Only had around 116 miles and came fully loaded with Beats audio system, front collision mitigation system and large LCD monitor for all car functions. Overall has been a great car without any problems until 3 weeks ago when a light ticking sound started from the engine. Checked my oil level and it was good but still changed oil since problem was present. After oil service sound went away for a day and continued the following to result in losing power that week. Took it to a local dealer with 70K miles on it and they said the a coil misfired from the cylinder and needed replacement. Paid for repairs only to have it go disabled a week. I'm angry now 😠 considering I'm still paying on this car which is still considered fairly new to me. Took it to Dodge dealer to be told it will needs all rocker arms, 2 cams and few other components around $2000! Nonsense...I feel like letting them come get this car.. And keep in mind I never neglected the maintenance on it..always on time with the preventive maintenance as this is a investment. Only has been driven on 5 out of town trips maybe totaling 4K miles others are around town. Has anyone else had any defects similar to my vehicle? I still have my 2005 Chevy Avalanche that I've never had to go inside the engine to repair and Mitsubishi Galant I had since 2002 and sold before I purchased this Charger that I never had any engine problems until after 13 years of owning it that I also purchased new.

The sxt is a v8 value with a v6 engine. It's a great car.

Never been a Sedan guy. Always figured if you want a sedan why not just buy an SUV? The Charger has definitely changed my mind. You could put two bodies in the trunk. I am a bigger guy and I can literally sit in the back seat and outstretch my legs. It really has pep and outstanding mpg. Would definitely recommend for a family of four or less. If you have more get an SUV.

I've only had the car for about a year and a half, I really liking it. haven't had any problems with it. fun to drive and kind of sporty for a sedan. Pretty fast for a 6cyl. Katy Chrysler Dodge jeep gave me a good deal. I am happy with my purchase so far! Only thing is I wish I would have gotten th RT or scat pack with the v8. !
