What a blast to drive!

This is my 3rd SRT powered Charger and by far the best. I've been a Mopar guy my entire life and I've owned some of the best from a '70 6 pack Bee, '70 R/T SE Challenger, '72 Satellite Sebring Plus (400 P code) and others to my 3 previously mentioned SRT's. The SRT cars way outperform the older rides by a mile. The older muscle looks cool and attracts attention and comments but that's not the reason I drive. I drive to make myself happy, not others and that's why the newer muscle gets my vote.

Great exterior, cheap interior

Can Dodge make an interior other than cheap black plastic? Loved the exterior, very mean looking and sporty. 5,7 Hemi gave lots of power. An 8 speed auto it a little to much, kept hunting for gears, a 6 speed would do better. Love the tech and touch screen but no volume or radio controls on the steering wheel? Odd. The front seats were terrible. They were uncomfortably hard, lumbar support stuck out to far even all the way deflated, and the head rest was way to far back. Never could get comfortable in it. If Dodge would step up their interiors they would have a great car.

Love driving the Charger R/T. The interior is great, it is fast and for a big car it handles well. No surprise for a V8, but the gas mileage is bad—it is a challenge to keep it around 18 in combined driving. But it takes regular. I have had no problems other than the sunroof not working when I bought it. It was fixed under warranty and has been flawless ever since.
