I love my new 2016 Charger

I love this car. I bought the SXT with the blacktop package in granite pearlcoat color and love it. It's roomy for my kids and they love the car too. I was really surprised how good this car is on gas considering its a V6 with plenty of power. The rebates were good. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I traded in a 2012 R/T Plus for this 2016 R/T with Road and Track package. The Road and Track package literally turns this into a different car. Two different cars, really. You get two drive modes. Normal drive mode which I call "grandpa mode" is great when you're driving your mother in law to the hair salon. Or taking clients out to lunch. Or whatever. For more entertainment value, there's Sport drive mode. Power steering sensitivity, traction control, shift speed, etc., are customizable in both modes via touch screen. So basically, you get two cars for the price of one. Which is great. You can opt for the Scat Pack, SRT8 or Hellcat if you want to spend more. For the extra money, you get higher levels of performance and/or refinement and all three of those also have customizable drive modes, though they tend to always feel more "sport mode" all the time. If you want a car that feels like a "grown up" car when you want it to, but also can be fun... I don't think you can beat a Charger with the Road and Track package. I will also say that in the last 4 years, though the interior of the car aesthetically hasn't drastically changed, it definitely has improved in a number of small ways. Anyway... yeah. I'd recommend it. Update two years later: Still recommend it.

Love my Charger! 80000 miles and averaging 30mpg combined since I usually avoid traffic. Dodge did this one right, all though I prefer the 2014 exterior better the 2016 model is very aggressive and sporty looking. I have had nothing but good with this car so far.

Not for everyone...but almost perfect for me!

Awesome performance. Enough room for my family of four. Gas mileage is actually pretty dang good if you keep your foot off the floor: I have averaged almost 19MPG in the first 550+ miles of owning the car, all stop-and-go driving through town. The entertainment features are really superb, along with the general functionality of the UConnect system. I am amazed at what can be had in cars today. The interior, to me, still seems somewhat cheap in certain areas (inside door skins, for instance) for a car costing north of $40K. Do I wish I would have opted for the Scat Pack instead of just the Road & Track package? Yes and no. Sure, more power and performance could have been cool, but the performance from the 5.7L HEMI is pretty awesome for my "family car." I don't know that I would opt again for the Alcantara Seats...if I had it to do again, I would opt for the full leather.

AWD family sedan disguised as a sports car

2016 Dodge Charger SXT 4dr Sedan AWD (3.6L 6cyl 8A)

This car is everything I wanted in a daily year round driver. I live in a true 4 season climate along the Lake Michigan shore line. We get tons of lake affect snow during the cold winter months and a good amount of rain in the spring and fall. This car is heavy with lots of steel protecting me and my family. Great traction in all weather conditions with a smooth luxurious ride The AWD system works well and is fully automatic. It engages when you need it and disengages when you don't. Very little road noise and a top notch infotainment system and Beats Audio System. My only gripe is that I don't have HID headlights. (available in the AWD plus package only) I might look into an after market option.
