Used 2014 Dodge Charger Sedan Consumer Reviews
MDS System
Dodge really needs to address their MDS system on these Hemi engines. Mine has gone out consistently since I have owned the care but fortunately its under warranty; and I am not financially responsible for the repairs.

Ex Daytona guy
Well to start off I owned a 2006 dodge charger rt Daytona Top Banana number 814 of 4000. It also had a signature on the airbag of "THE KING" Richard Petty (the original). It was a beautiful car very fast and incredibly clean all around inside and out, including the engine compartment. The signature was gotten by the original owner she went to Boothbay Harbor in Maine, Nascar was having an event there and she got THE KING to sign it. I got it in 2015 and it had about 60000 miles on the odometer (she only drove it during the summer). I just sold it to a friend (the odometer read about 125000 miles on it) he will bring it back to where it should be. Just little things that a 14 year old car will have breakdown, I was gonna do it myself but dont have the time or the money at this moment. So I ended up getting a 2014 dodge charger rt pitch black, it looks completely awesome. I really like the way the chargers look from 2006 to 2014 after that they look ugly to me. But anyway this car is so much more refined more hp 370 compared with 350 for the Daytona. The inside door handles light up, alpine stereo system, heated steering wheel, also have remote start, push button start. I have had this car less than a week it had 44068 miles on the odometer. I'm gonna have a friend do an inspection on it for me, I don't trust dealerships. It rides so smoothly, I love the actual feel you get from driving a vehicle you know can toast just about anything on the road. I'm really excited to modify it, muffler system and headers, plus a cai probably k/n. It will be a fun time with my Black Beauty.

Excellent Ride and gas
I traded my 2013 Dodge Challenger Rallye Redline, fully loaded, for a bright white 2014 Charger R/T, base model. I love this car. When I owned the challenger, I drove it like it had a hemi, on occasion. The charger 5.7 hemi, has so far gotten better gas milage than my 3.6 pentastar in the challenger. Handling is great, with regards to the size. Space is awesome. The 8.5 media screen is awesome. Acceleration is great.

This was posted a few years back: A/C Climate controls and venting system has to be the worse of any manufacturer. Half the time they don't function properly, so pick your season, be patient, and once your selection. I had to finally have the Vent Modules replaced @ $400 per side. They are now working properly and I only had to do the driver side as there was no temperature control so defroster wouldn't work on the driver side, passenger side was fine. Regular maintenance is key. Done brakes twice, recall work, but no major repairs since owning the car. Head Light replacement is a Nightmare and labor intense is you do it, and expensive if you pay someone to do it for you. Definitely a great purchase and is now paid off.

Worst car I have ever owned
Worst car ever, 2nd charger owned, 1st one died at 20k miles, transmission blew up, 2nd one, 2014 has horrible off gas odor that makes me sick and the car impossible to drive. Chrysler says the car is "operating as designed' and that I am out of luck. Do yourself a favor and buy literally anything else but Dodge.
