This is a great vehicle. I hear some complaints about headlights. Mine are great and I can see good at night. Thhe steering is very tight. No one has mentioned the tight turning radius. Wow. This SUV can park in tight spots no other chevy of comparible size could even think about. I don't like the non-removable mirrors on the visors( I got the LS model).Out of all the reviews I have read on the trailblazer I have not read one thing about the killer stereo. Good thing I have cruise control, because it's real easy to drive faster than I ought to be driving. mmc

In shop 5 times-SIR(air bag)light going off and on-safety issue-air bags don't deploy when light is on. Dealer recon.ckts, repl.modules, driver&passenger sides, prob persists. Resorting to "Lemon Law." Xmission&eng. probs-now @15k mi., gets 13-17 mpg, others get 21-22. Wind noise, door rattle, hatch strap&weather stripping coming apart, LS emblem fell off. A/C blows cold @dash vents when A/C OFF. Heater set @floor only but blows from defrosters! Dealer says xmission, eng.,air/heat within normal specs. Owned 2 new cars, several used-NEVER experienced this. In 2 yrs., PCM reprogrammed-software upgrade + 2 recalls. What next?

Why did I buy this car?

When I bought my Trailblazer I was excited because I had a new SUV. But that feeling was short lived. After 3.5 years driving this car I am tired of the wind noise, the rough ride, the body roll, the seat belts, and the poorly designed seats. I have also had a number of mechanical problems with my SUV and at least 7 recalls. I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone who wants good gas mileage or a comfortable ride. It does have alot of cargo capasity which has come in handy with large loads. It can also easily haul a horse trailer.

I have had nothing but trouble out of my trailblazer. It is in the shop now for the 3rd time with transmission problems. The rear brake lights have never worked. I have replaced the bulbs 8 times now. I'm trading this piece of crap.
