1999 Chevrolet Tahoe LT
I had a 1999 Chevy Tahoe LT with the 5.7L V8 with the 4 speed automatic transmission. I purchased it in October of 2010, and it had 246K miles. It was lost in an accident in December 2010 due to brake failure. While I drove it, it was a very comfortable ride, and it was good to drive in the West Virginia weather. My father had a 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe LT as well, I thought that the '96 had better power, but it was sold in November 2010. I would reccomend this vehicle to anyone.
Cool looking truck with 3 inch lift kit
Can’t beat its reliability. Clean look. Brakes are mushie but can be fixed. Motor has fun power. My 2 door 4x4 with a/c was built for the California forestry and only had 83k miles on it when I bought it in 2022. Love this pile!

Great family and garbage hauler!
Four years ago I bought a '99 Tahoe LT for $2700, with 350,000 on it, most of it highway miles. Now has 370,000 on it. The gas mileage sucks but man, is it comfortable! I'm a large guy with long legs, and I fit comfortable in both the front and the back (except the middle seat in the rear). My wife can even sit in the middle rear seat between the kids in their car seats to hang out with them. We've used the back as a bed while camping. Got one of those tents that goes around the back of your SUV to turn it into livable space... Absolutely amazing how much you can pack into the truck, and you can always get a cargo box for the top rack or one of those hitch-mounted cargo carriers, or tow something behind you. More than enough power from the 350 even with all the mileage. Has required very little in maintenance. Great road trip vehicle for a family of 4, great vehicle to take the kids to daycare/school, or grocery shopping... garbage dump runs... 4WD goes great in the snow with some decent tires, does nice donuts in the mud and snow (LOL) Full sized spare underneath with all the equipment to change it! It even handles better than you'd expect for such a massive, heavy vehicle once you get used to driving it. The braking sucks. Even with fresh components it's hard to stop so you have to leave plenty of distance. That's probably my one complaint. Totally sub-par.

Rock Solid - like the ads
My Tahoe has performed admirably. Delivered with one defect - passenger seat lumbar didn't work - it stands as the most solid new car I have ever purchased. Oddly enough, it replaced a Lexus LS400 that was never right! This machine can take a beating, haul anything and never fails to perform. 2 months sitting while I travel and starts on the first turn of the key.

You won’t be disappointed with this SUV because I’m over 6ft tall and can fit in it very comfortably and has heated seats great vehicle I learned to drive on one just like it and the body is holding up great for being almost 20 years old
