HATE THIS CAR!! DO NOT BUY ONE😻😻

I bought a 2017 Chevy Spark brand new. I had it not even 6 months and the brain went out of it. Then the transmission went out. Then a recall on the airbag and then just recently a recall on the back up screen. Now my transmission makes a speaking noise. I will have this car in 2 years in Feb 2019. When you come to a complete stop it hesitstes to take off but of course the dealer ship said GM told them it is supposed to do that. Well I don't believe a car should do that. That could get a person killed. If your on a dirt road going up a hill it jerks. I have had it in and out of the dealership I don't know how many times. I have fought GM and nothing. I'm not paying 20,000 dollars for a piece of junk!! I had a old Volkswagen Beetle that was better than this Spark. That's pretty sad. So the only opportunity I have left is 1) Go to the owner of the car lot or 2) Get me a lawyer and take GM to court. which I will do if I have to. This is just wrong and I have read other reviews that have had the same problem as me.

I had my car for 15 months now and bought it brand new and so far my vacuum pump has went out, my CV joint went out, currently my alternator or my starter is going out I not sure which I've had the battery tested it's good but about every 3 days it's completely dead and I need a jumpstart, both of my front automatic windows no longer work, and After buying 5 new sets of headlights in the 1st 6 months of owning the car I finally just gave up on having high beams because they would go out so frequently and I'm making sure they're installed correctly and not touching them I even had in technician install the last 3 sets and on top of everything parts are impossible to find for it you have to buy every part from the dealership at 10 times what it should cost you. I literally have not been able to find a single part other than the headlights at a auto parts store every part ive had a buy from the dealership.

I’ve only had my 2017 LS for about 1 month and I am enjoying it. It is my daily driver for a short commute and running errands. It has a great look inside and out and with some detailing can be sporty looking (a friend said to me it looks like an SUV that hasn’t grown up yet - and he’s not wrong LOL). The cabin is well laid out and while the appointments won’t “wow” they will at least surprise and satisfy. I find the seats to be comfortable, though I haven’t taken any long trips yet and have not sat in the back seats either. The cabin is quiet. I was worried about getting the LS trim package, but have found with plugging in my phone, I have everything I need and want (but I also don’t mind the manual windows, locks and side mirrors). As for performance: it’s a leisurely drive for sure. There is no “punching it” to “get up and go”. If you want aggressive acceleration upon pressing the pedal, then you’ll be disappointed. However, if a bit of a timid start doesn’t bother you, then you’ll be satisfied with the performance. I for sure am not pulling out in front of anyone LOL. Also, for such a small car, the ride is really smooth. 1year into ownership: my initial review still stands. I find myself at times wanting a little more power, but I still really like the car, who I call “Sparky”.

We bought a 2017 spark as a tow car to pull behind our motorhome. We found a used one already equipped to tow. Had only 410 miles. This car is a stick shift manual windows manual side view mirrors manual door locks. Basically as cheap as you can get. I’ve got as high as 46 mpg. Front seat is roomy with good leg room. Ride is not horrible but you do get road noise. One option I did install was cruise control. Easy 2 hr job. For its price it’s not a bad car. Don’t know if I’d like to take a long trip in it but as a tow car it’s perfect. Now have 17000 miles no repairs yet. We did over blubook value do to about 5000 in rv tow packages

Bulletproof reliable and super fun to drive!

Bought a Spark LS manual transmission brand new in 2017. Just turned 40,000 miles with no issues. It has been exceptionally reliable. I read the reviews on here where a few people have complained out the reliability. Seems like many were just mad that they couldn't afford a more expensive car and were looking to trash this amazing little car. I belong to a Spark FaceBook page and a courier service is on our page. They buy new Sparks for courier duty and have put 200,000+ miles on each one with bulletproof track records. This is an astoundingly great car for the price. I paid $10,000 OTD brand new for mine! It's super fun to drive, has great fit and finish, great driving dynamics, and had been perfectly reliable. Who could ask for more?

This is my first chevy and WILL BE MY LAST. I have had the worst experience in my life with this car i have never dreamed i would have so much trouble. my 100+ year old home has has less trouble than this car. I have owned the car 7 months and it just hit 4000 miles.

Sad car only gets 38 mpg. Should come with half the engine size and get 60 mpg. I don't need speed, I want ultra high mpg, reliability, safety

Too small, I was afraid that it wouldn’t be safe in Dallas traffic. I had concerns that it wouldn’t be a car I could own for many years
