1993 2 Dr Euro - Bought New
Still have it after 10yrs so I must like it. Have aways liked looks and handling. Brakes are terrible. Gotta use parking brake always else cylinders seize (another $400 bucks twice over). Metal pipes in cooling system all rot and leak. $400 for the one at the intake manifold (broke off during repair). Spliced a hose onto the lower one coming out of the radiator. Really dumb engineering. Needed a new computer at 65K. Also trunk leaks and can't find source. It's red and still looks like new. Very comfortable to ride in. Prefer over my Honda Accord to drive.I must like it...I still have it! 17 and 25-30 mpg, not bad for 3.1 v6.
OK Don't LUV it
Typical heavy domestic car ride not bad though. Roomy. Typical Chevy interior, rattles too much cheap plastic. Not solid but competent ride. Good engine (3.1 V6), good acceleration.

My Lumina
I wish Chevy still made Luminas because I would buy another if possible! This has been a great vehicle and we intend to keep it until it just won't go no more but that could be when it has 400,000 miles on it! I would advise anyone if they can get a 1993/1994 Lumina, with low miles, to buy it and keep it. We have the original engine in it but did have our trans rebuilt this year. Our's has over 285,000 miles on it and we bought it 1 year old with 21,000 miles on it. The only repairs we have done to it is normal repairs such as water pumps, fuel pump, batteries, brakes & mufflers. Good cold weather start ups too. Change your oil!!
The greatest car on earth
We bought this car as a program car back in 94 and I have been the main driver of it. I get great gas mileage and it has had very little maintenance on it as far as parts going bad. I have almost 190,000 miles on it and I would trust it to drive it across the United States any day. We have thought about buying another Chevrolet but I just hate the idea of getting rid of my Lumina! Even thoough it's almost 12 years old, I still trust it a lot. It's like one of the family. Thank you Chevrolet for making such a great car.
Good fast car
Great car. Paid 750 for it. It was very fast and passing with ease too. Suffered a bit on hills, but it's a six cylinder, what do you want? And it ran well on or off road. I had no trouble until I thought I could get 4000 out of an oil change instead of 3000 and it threw a rod. I had to replace the motor. No trouble since.
