Used 2006 Chevrolet Impala Consumer Reviews
310 Horses never felt soooo good
I traded my 2002 LS because it was underpowered and this car's PERFECT. It's just what the boredom doctor ordered. The fun starts when you hit the accelerator. Gas mileage is about 18.2 but who cares. the exhiliration is worth 10mpg. Reminds me a little of my 67' GTO except it was rear wheel drive. Love the leather and XM but most impressive is the diagnostic center. All 4 tire pressures? Can't get much better than that. If you're looking for a sleeper, come drive this car, you won't regret it.
Impala SS CD player blues
I love my new Impala. Fun to drive, delivers everything I wanted. Only problem I have had is the CD player. The first time I tried to put one in it would not let me. Had to take it back to the shop for them to verify the failuer and back again to have the whole radio replaced. New unit works great but I think they should add a CD check to their final inspection routine. Otherwise, thanks Chevrolet for a great car.
A true family car
All new 2006 Impala is a run for the money. Beats Toyota Camry in roominess, crash safety ratings, performance and price. The black Impala looks like a premium car from outside, definitely stands out on the road. Impala sets the benchmark for large size family car. If you want roomy, comfortable sedan with "On your face" attitude, go for it. On the negative side, the door locks feel cheap and the side mirrors are small. Doors are heavy and hard to close. I hardly get 24 MPG on highway.
So far, so good
Handles good, nice sounds, OnStar, gas mileage, looks smaller than what it is, trunk space sunroof, tire size. Smoothness!
Best V8 Sedan for the money
Wonderful car. Fast, smooth, quiet. Excellent on long trips. Perfect cruiser. Blends in doesn't stick out. Roomy inside as well as in the trunk.
