2026 Chevrolet Equinox Consumer Reviews

Love my 2025 Chevrolet Equinox LT!
I traded my 22 Honda CRV for the 25 Equinox LT Metalic black. Wasn't keen on color at first but love it now. I test drove for the fun of it and the vehicle sold itsself! Has more power than my CRV, the seats are so comfortable, the leather heated seats and steering wheel are the best! The heat and air conditioning so much better also! The camera also blows Honda away with the front and back up camera can see top of vehicle, safety features are better than the Honda. The infotainment system blows the Honda away. Very easy to use. Screen is huge, people can hear me on Bluetooth. Honda never could, they heard everything else. Honda very shady with 18,000 miles had to pay for so many things they said needed to be serviced and wouldn't pass inspection as they said needed new tires. Never in my life did I have to get new tires at 18,000 miles. Someone told me they sell with crappy soft tires for a better test drive. Never again with Honda! Anyone else who owns a Honda CRV or a Toyota Rav 4 (as had that in the past also,) take a 25 Chevy Equinox for a test drive you will love it!

Stunner with guts
I absolutely love my 2025 Chevrolet Equinox. It handles beautifully and has plenty of power for passing and pulling out into traffic. The changes made this model year make it a vehicle that is noticed.

3rd Equinox and love all of them!
I trade cars often. I just purchased my 3rd Equinox because I always regret trading them off. My first was a black on black RS. My second was a fully loaded Premier, white, with every available option that can be had and now I just purchased another fully loaded RS AWD in Radiant Red Tintcoat with the black roof and 20” optional wheels. The 2026 design is so eye catching both inside and out. The seats are so comfortable and I love how the dash is low allowing better front visibility and a view of the sexy sculpted hood. Like everyone else has said, the speakers are awful, especially for $39k. To make mine perfect, I plan to have new speakers installed by a sound store to complete it. Any vehicle can be picked to death but over all the Equinox is sexy, masculine, and capable. For all the naysayers, did you not look at it and look at the options that it has and chose a different package? It doesn’t make sense to me to give the equinox a bad score because it doesn’t have an automatic trunk. It’s available, it’s not the cars fault that you chose the wrong package.
Introducing Kiwi
Just picked up my 2025 equinox active in cacti green with the white roof top and named her kiwi. I am just odd at how packed with safety and technology. The top level of this trim is even more south than my Subaru, which was top-tier. Since I made a tool around in the city and in the burbs, I’m not worried much about not having a lot of power as I do not do a lot of long trips anymore at my age. This is a smooth and comfortable ride and easy to use technology even for us older people. The interior is high-quality materials much better than the 19 equinox I had and I also love the sporty and adventurous look of this active model.

Fantastic Vehicle
This car is wonderful. The tech package on the LT is stellar. The large double screen is nice. Apple Car Play is offered and is superior to the GM stock screen controls. The price is very fair, the vehicle is roomy, rides well, and is well built. The base model LT comes well stocked with amenities. The interior finishes are multi textured and feel like they belong in a higher end car. I love this car so much...my wife just swapped in her older car in for an Equinox. We now have two Equinox in our family.
