I have driven many fast cars in my life. This is my first owned Corvette. I know there are faster cars with more HP but I say, "why"?. You will not need it. It is as fast as you need it to be and is actually comfortable to drive. I have taken it back and forth from NC to NY a few times and I was still ready to drive more. Its affordable and the speed is 100% there when you need it or want to open it up. Interior is great and the heads up display is a wonderful to have. If you want a Corvette and dont want to break the bank, get yourself a 2005. You want to spend more $$ and want something faster? Buy a rocket ship.

Can I just say I love this car? I've always been a car connoisseur and have always wanted a Vette. The first year I couldn't get out of the car without looking back at it in astonishment about how good looking it is. The car rides amazingly smooth even with the Z- 51 suspension. The acceleration is amazingly fast and smooth. This car is refined beyond what most people would think. It's only downfall is that it's sold by Chevy dealers and they don't know how to treat Corvette owners.

Awesome C6

I've been a Corvette fan for years. I bought my first convertible in 2002. The C5 was a great car, but with issues. GM has done a fantastic job cleaning up the issues: fit and finish, interior design and quality, technology are all vastly improved. I was concerned about the decision to shortten the car by 5 inches and narrow it by 1 inche, but it was the right decision. Car car "feels" beeter now as a result. The exeterior design was also vastly improved: the car looks great. I think it's the best value for a performance sports car, literally, in the world.

This is the most amazing car I have ever owned and I have owned 14 different Corvettes. Bravo to Chevrolet by continuing to strive for excellence! This car is gorgeous inside and out.

This car self destructs right before your eyes, after 90000 everything goes, power steering, windows, heads up display, radio, gas gauge, oil gauge, headlights turn opaque...So far I am at about $6000 in repairs, Don't even think of going to a Chevy Dealer.
