Leaks more oil than Exxon Valdez
I love this vehicle, but I can't get it to stop leaking oil. Changed the oil lines, sent to the dealer twice. Still leaks oil from somewhere. If it wasn't for that, it would be perfect.
I am truly a Chevy Lover!
This car was perfect size for me. It's great for traveling in the mountains, the suspensions awesome. I had some trouble with the fuel injector, but it was a minor problem, other wise, its ideal!

96 Chevy s-10 Blazer
A very dependable vehicle, as long as you take care of it, it will take care of you. I had bought a 89 s-10 truck in high school, loved it as well. A couple years ago I purchased my 1996 s-10 blazer from a one owner who gave it regular maintenance from the dealership. It had only 123k mi when I bought it, needless to say inhave put a few more on top of that. I'm at 178k now and so far nothing major have I had to fix. They have always been a great and dependable vehicle. I will always give a good review on most all chevy vehicles. #chevy#likeArock

if you have money to spend
first 1200 (1996)miles blew a transmission seal, then air conditioner wouldnt work while 105 in Nevada. Costly tows (reimbursed) due to warranty many times in the garage due to transmission problems, replaced transmission in 2002 and the extended warrantly goes back to the original date of purchase not the date we had implemented. will not buy another GM blazer type vehicle, especially this kind. I have talked to many other owners and yes they too have had tranny problems.
bipolar blazer
I owned a 96 Chevy Blazer 4x4 and I beat the crap out of it, I got it stuck and almost flooded it and almost flipped it and have been thru many a trail or mud pit. But the thing is a mechanical mess! Its hard to modify not meant for off roading in any way, I went thru 2engines in 160k miles and will never buy a Chevy suv again.
