Jenn's car
This is my very first new car and I love it! I checked this car out before making my purchase and every person that I knew that had one said " It's a great little car!" I feel the same way! I was also glad that it had a 5 star crash rating!
Great Car for Awhile
I loved this car when I first bought it. As a single mom though, I had to finance for 6 years to afford the payments. Now, the car was in the shop for 3 out of the last 4 weeks for various different and expensive reasons. Apparently it is really hard to get the parts you need. Of course, that could be my mechanic's way of buying more time, but if the car had lasted past its warranty I don't think I would have had to deal with a mechanic other than a dealer. Bottom Line: If you buy an aveo, do not keep it past about 50,000 miles or so unless you have at least 2000 saved up for repairs.
Ash review
Been driving ny LS Sedan Aveo 2005 for a month. Till now good value for money. Goes about 415km on a full tank {with AC on}. Very spacious on the inside. Silver is perhaps the best colour here. I got my windows tinted silver..so it looks cool. The pick-up is not very powerful but once a speed is attained it cruises smoothly. The fuel indicator is very dim and fluctuates. The seat has no height adjuster. AC is very effective. Engine is spaced out neatly for air to pass around. Have overall enjoyed till now. I would recommend it if you are looking for a decent value for the money.
Great Car!
I spent a lot of time researching cars before I bought this one. It is definitely the best one out there for the money. Of course you are not going to have the power of a BMW, but you didn't pay those prices. This is my first car and it is the best choice that I could have made. I love to drive it.
Satisfied customer
Pleasant and easy driving characterize the Aveo. Handling is agile and predicable with quick braking. Turning circles are short. The car is solid, well-built and heavy for its size. It's very economical on gas. It glues to the road well with proper tires. (Factory Kuhmos were replaced immediately after purchase.) The short nose, tall driving position, and superior forward view magnify the car's agility assets, making it easy to drive. The 1.6 L4 provides plenty of pep (4-sp auto). This car rides well, and handles well in snow. The cabin is spacious. I am 5'8", and my girl is 5'10" with very long legs. Limits: seats four only, trunk lid arms dip into trunk, lower than normal ground clearance.
