2001 Cadillac Catera 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

I've had my 01 Catera since purchasing
it new in 9/01. I traded a 97 Catera
that had developed several problems a
local Cadillac dealer did not
satisfactorily repair. I changed
dealers and bought the 01, and
basically have been satisfied during my
26 months of ownership and 26K miles.
There have been a few minor problems,
but the dealer has taken care of them
and treated me well.

Best Features

stereo, sunroof, chrome wheels, leather seats, array of dials and lights, exhaust rumble under acceleration

Worst Features

Needs more horsepower and a 5 or 6 speed transmission (a high gear for highway cruising that would improve the mediocre gas mileage). Improvement in quality and reliability (per other reviews on this page) so resale is better.
