2026 Buick Envista Consumer Reviews

Great styling
Love the styling. We purchased a 2024 Envista Avenir last week. So far driving is pretty good. Still adjusting to the gas pedal response as it's feeling like it's on or off. Having a hard time getting smooth acceleration. I feel the car is quiet and smooth riding, the interior is very pleasant to look at. Sound system ok, not a Bose. I hope the car is reliable after reading some of the reviews. UPDATE: Good looking car, smooth quiet ride most of the time. The car rides smooth and quiet, however lots of tire noise on rough road surfaces. Audio system has the worst speakers ever in a car that I've owned. We have had about 3 months and so far only issue is the OnStar system going on and off. We get lots of complements on this vehicles styling.

HASTA LA (EN)VISTA!
Let me start by saying, this is an aesthetically pleasing vehicle. I was drawn to its sleek presentation, and I was sold from then. I was extremely excited to have such a beautiful vehicle sitting in my lot, and even more excited to drive it on the road. However, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment. After about a week of driving, my check engine light went off. Cool, no problem i thought, perhaps being overly optimistic, to avoid the reality that this was not a good sign. I hadn't had the car long enough to even need gas, so I knew it wasn't the gas cap being left open. Besides, this vehicle doesn't have the traditional cap. In any event, i proactively took my vehicle to the dealership right away. I was told they couldn't diagnose the issue and removed the check engine light from my dashboard. Less than 2 weeks later, guess what happened? You guessed it! The check engine light appeared again. Once again, i was proactive and brought the vehicle in to the dealership once again. At this point, the receptionist, the salesperson that sold me the vehicle, and the mechanics are starting to wonder what's going on at this point. I was told it was a censor. I was lucky enough to get the sensor from GM rather quickly, as I made it my duty that it would be treated as a high priority. After the censor was installed and the check engine light was gone...guess what ? You guessed it! 2 days later, my check engine light pops up yet again. At this point I am livid! I have lost my confidence in this car! And quite frankly I regret trading in my reliable vehicle i had prior, for the Envista. But still, i have tried to keep a relatively positive outlook. I was informed that there was a bulletin sent out with this issue, and that there is no resolve yet. Engineers are working on a fix. I have been told everything in the book ranging from how common these "little issues" can be sometimes, to how odd and inexplicable this issue is for a new vehicle. So where does this leave me now? I'm at a stand still. Confused as to what's going on. Uneasy about what happens after my warranty is up. I have 0 confidence at this point that this will be a long term vehicle for me. This issue has prompted me to check reddit reviews, and let's just say i will omit the things I've read about this particular car to spare feelings. But let's just say the size engine for this vehicle and where it's made is a huge red flag for many reviewers. I am now driving rental that was offered to me in the interim (Chevy Equinox). Although I am happy I was offered a rental, the vehicle I'm now driving around in doesn't meet the aesthetics of a car that represents me. I'm trying to keep calm about this, but its really been a huge hindrance. I've had to change my schedule multiple times to bring the car in on numerous occasions. I've had to adapt to not having my favorite feature available (using the app to remotely start). We experience cold winters in Canada and I've had to go outside to warm the car rather than doing it from the inside. Sounds like a small issue, but its a huge inconvenience, especially when that was a huge factor in what sold me. I just wanted to enjoy my new vehicle. Instead, i am left in disappointment and embarrassment at this point. On numerous occasions when dropping the car off to the dealership, my mom would say "again? , didn't you just get this car?". Embarrassing! Anyway, I'm rambling at this point. I really want to love this car. I really want to have that enjoyment of owning a new vehicle. But I feel I have been robbed of this experience. I'm paying for a vehicle that I don't even have access to. They say first impressions last forever. I am not having a good first impression to say the least, and I'm looking forward to a resolution to keep me happy as a new client. I didn't trade in my reliable vehicle (will omit name and model out of respect) for a problematic car. Please fix this! The engine light and my current standings with the GM brand.

Envista me please
I just like to stare at it in the driveway or garage. I think the ocean blue metallic is just beautiful in the Avenir trim. Drives quiet , handle well , roomy & practically. Btw tho the Storage capacity is less than our Buick encore GX who piles things to the roof and obstruct their view anyways ? That being said the only thing we miss is the 360 camera.

Very good value
I purchased the Envista and traded in my Encore GX. I'm very happy with the ride, tech and room of the Envista. I received several compliments on the style of the Envista. Buick has came through with a solid vehicle with a very good price point. I purchased the preferred base with options and couldn't be happier.
