Just stepped up from and X5 3.0D to a 45e
Maybe a bit early for a review. I have just done 600K in the e. Very response in electric and I am getting 60+ Kms electric. Barely used petrol so far but when i booted it to pass at truck it was immediately responsive and quickly did the job. I really liked my 3.0D but this one is another level. It seems a lot bigger maybe wider. and very comfortable. It has the Pirelli low profile tyres and they are yet to be tested on the open road but generally handling remains excellent. Finish throughout the car is top notch. Very good heads up display, very clear maps, heated seats and heated steering wheel. Hardly notice the small boot space loss. Very happy with the car so far.

The car is terrific, 30 plus miles per gallon averaged on a 3K trip. Around the house for errands, good bye gas stations! Coming from a ML 550 Mercedes SUV, this car has a lot to live up to and it has not disappointed me. Storage is a little tight but overall I’ll give it 5 stars because it isn’t a perfect world. But the X5 45e is a keeper.

A Beast on the highway
Love this car, took my first 750 miles road trip with such ease. Lover the acceleration on this vehicle, I was able to get in and out of traffic with ease. I average about 34/35 miles per electric charge. About every 2 months I filled the car up which is great....
