Nice small SUV
This car fits me well. I didn't want a bigger SUV. I'm loving it so far. Beautiful car. Only disappointment I have but it is not the dealer's fault. The universal garage door opener on the mirror doesn't come standard in this car. Kind of annoying that something that basic is not available in the basic package anymore while so many high tech additions, probably won't use half of it. Pretty "funny" to use my remote clicker again. Haven't used one since 2005 :( All my old BMW s had it.

Nice to drive but infotainment is awful
The car handles well, but no buttons, to switch from say Fm sports to satellite is 6-7 screen presses, many other design flaws, including the storage in center console is a joke, they sell it with AM/FM but guess what! No AM receiver. To much focus on the screen for any change you make leads to distracted driving as well as fingerprints all over the glass. I wipe if constantly

Moisture in headlights
Love the car, just not the moisture in ALL lights
BMW X1
Great build quality. Fun to drive, good handling & acceleration. Great fuel economy. There are some good M options you will want to add.

Love it!!
The X1 is the best car I have ever owned, and I'm 75. I've owned Audi A6s, A5, and A4, BMW 3 series and 4 series gran Coupe, Acura TSXs, TLX and Integra. All of these have been great cars as have over a dozen Hondas. The X1 is better. It is the quickest and best handling. The steering, brakes and lights are great. I was one of the last of the now extinct sedan owners, and I have trouble getting a grip on how an SUV could perform better than the above mentioned vehicles. Other likes include: cosseting seats, fabulous cameras and automated backing, adaptive cruise and stop and go/traffic jam assist, ease of entry/exit, interior cabin design. Oh, gas mileage has been great far exceeding EPA estimates. of course there are niggles/ annoyances - gas and temperature gauges are almost invisible and poorly designed as are the speedo and RPMs gauges. Electronics are as equally frustrating and unintuitive as all the above mentioned vehicles. Reliability has been flawless after 3 months (stay tuned).
