Happy owner
Was looking for a small SUV to replace an Audi Q5 to use around town. I drive an M5 and this is for my wife who loves it. It feels way more expensive then it’s fully optioned price if $49k. M Sport package is a game changer if you want something that is more BMW traditional then mainstream modern BMW. Uses tried and true drivetrain and is sharp in person. Highly recommended.

NOT the Ultimate Driving Machine
After owning 9 different BMW's, this is by far the worst car I have ever owned. The new IDrive 9 does not work. Despite the new touch screen being very dangerous, most of the system is poorly laid out and difficult to use. It's really an IT nightmare. Nice looking car that has been in the shop more than it's been in my garage. Suggest that market this as the Ultimate Driving Flop!

Save your sanity and money; buy a different car.
This is my 1st BMW (and 2nd German car -- the last was a Jetta) and will be my last. From the start, there have been issues, especially with the touchscreen; it's cumbersome and not even remotely user-friendly. There is no easy way to toggle from app to app without pressing buttons four+ times, which is quite annoying with the most basic features such as heating and cooling. Nothing is intuitive even though they claim it to be. With Sirius XM, you cannot save or delete stations and the "handy" next button near the gear shift only scrolls through each station, because (again) it won't let you save favorites. I have sat with two tech people for two hours each and they said, "I don't know why that is happening." Apparently that is considered good customer service. Additionally, some random Pandora stations are popping up, which I have never saved in my iPhone and cannot be deleted from my favorites screen(!!), which makes zero sense. Their response? "We don't know why that is happening." Again, terrific help. As another person noted, there is a lag with everything, whether turning the car on, accelerating, changing radio stations, rolling down the windows, and so forth. And to top this all off, the HomeLink garage function does not work and I have tried everything from watching YouTube videos, reading the owner's manual, and talking with a garage door person. It does nothing but blink that yellow/orange color and programs nothing. Even the remote start function is lousy as it doesn't let you set a predetermined temperature; it only acknowledges the setting for when you last shut off the car. Even my past two Hyundai's had programmable temperature choices with the remote start; how can a BMW not make that improvement? The car beeps with practically every movement except for the blindspot detection; it only flashes on the side mirror. How can that be called a safety feature and NOT have a warning sound? My Nissan's and Hyundai's had that functionality and a BMW doesn't? Last but not least, there is practically no interior storage (just look inside the center console if you want to get a good laugh). Overall car this is an embarrassment to the brand. Run, don't walk, from buying this car.

Loving it!
Wanted to get back to leasing but also wanted another BMW. This car replaced my 2015 BMW 328i (which I loved!). Loved the redesign job on this car both on the outside and inside. Comes extremely well equipped for the price- I only added the convenience package to mine. It’s much roomier than I expected and the engine and power are as expected from BMW. Definitely glad I made the switch.

Nice small SUV
This car fits me well. I didn't want a bigger SUV. I'm loving it so far. Beautiful car. Only disappointment I have but it is not the dealer's fault. The universal garage door opener on the mirror doesn't come standard in this car. Kind of annoying that something that basic is not available in the basic package anymore while so many high tech additions, probably won't use half of it. Pretty "funny" to use my remote clicker again. Haven't used one since 2005 :( All my old BMW s had it.
