Only a few weeks now and that’s not long enough time to be fully objective, but I am absolutely wowed by this car. Your negatives: no third row and styling are irrelevant to us. What matters is quality, performance,range and value and this is has it all. It’s well built and solid. It has great power and acceleration. Handles well. My range estimate is around 360-370 miles per charge. With the incentives, its cost is lower than comparable like Tesla, MB, Cadillac or Porsche and delivers more. Learning the infotainment system is not for Luddites but using the BMW app I was able to transfer settings from my other X-5. The only shortcomings I’ve experienced are the seats that don’t provide the same level of support as the X-5 and the available charging network. However, I’ve simulated a couple of trips and the Electrify America network is ok especially given the range. Once we get more miles on it I’ll follow up with another report. UPDATE: Been a month of ownership now. Too soon to predict reliability, but given solid build quality and overall performance, I’m sure it will be as solid as other BMW’s I’ve owned. Never have had a return to dealer to fix any faults. Pluses: Performance, build quality, handling, acceleration, features, comfort, lack of noise and very significantly the range has computed to about 370 miles per full charge. Cons: Seats could offer more support, infotainment system etc. could be a bit easier to navigate, but once you get the hang of it it’s fine, Overall, best car I’ve ever owned, or in this case leased.

The car drives excellent and super comfortable. Indont mind the looks really, I guess I have gotten used to it. The only minor things are: Cupholder location is not convenient, phone wireless charger is useless, it has no frunk, no reclining back seats, trunk space ok but not great for the cars overall size, I think it needed sone ambien lighting in the middle front dash, Some windnoise when driving past 80KPH. But overall great car.
